Privacy Policy

SaveNowX is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains exactly what is and isn’t collected when you use it.

What we log

When you resolve or download a video, our server temporarily notes your IP address and the time of the request, purely to enforce rate limits and to keep the service reliable for everyone. This information is used in memory for rate limiting and in basic request logs (request counts, error types, response times) used to monitor the service and catch breakage. It is not linked to any account, because SaveNowX doesn’t have accounts.

What we don’t collect

• No accounts, sign-ups, or passwords;
• No storage of the links you paste beyond the moment they’re processed;
• No storage of downloaded video files or thumbnails on our servers — videos stream from the source straight to your device and are discarded by our server the moment the transfer finishes;
• No advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or ad cookies; and
• No sale of any data to third parties.

Third-party content

To resolve a post, SaveNowX requests public information about that post from X. That request is subject to X’s own systems and policies, which SaveNowX doesn’t control.

Cookies

SaveNowX doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising. Any cookie set by the hosting platform is strictly functional (for example, load balancing) and isn’t used to identify you across visits.

Children’s privacy

SaveNowX isn’t directed at children and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone we know to be under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
